These are the pictures from our trip with John to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates.  I loved the gardens and the homes – and can see why people lived near the water.  While the temperatures were very warm, the porches and the riverfront provided shade and breezes that made the heat disappear.  It, of course, rained while we were there; but like all weather in Florida, if you don’t like it, wait twenty minutes and it will change.  We liked the estates so much I’m looking into the membership – just have to figure out which other gardens and estates are included in it.
